Dr. Nikita Vakil sharpened her dentistry skills and fueled her passion for helping people at the University of Miami, where she earned her BS, and then at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated in 2004 with honors. She also received specialty training in laser therapy, Invisalign, and oral sedation.
Dr. Vakil completed her AEGD residency in 2005 at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry and is proudly accredited as a member of the AGD.
She loves to spread her passion for helping people by volunteering at local charities, including the Houston Food Bank, Angel Outreach, and the National Charity Roundtable.
Outside the office, Dr. Vakil enjoys spending time with her spouse, a physician in The Woodlands, and their daughter and son. She also loves reading, cooking, traveling, and enjoying the atmosphere at her favorite local restaurant, Brother’s Pizza.

Dr. Vakil is wonderful! I have had to have several dental procedures completed over the past 7 years that I have worked with her. She is gentle, thoughtful and very good providing the dental care I need. The office staff and environment is peaceful and very nice as well. Highly recommended!
Our son Jackson was very nervous switching to a new dentist after seeing the previous one for 2 1/2 yrs. Stacy cleaned his teeth with care & listened to his concerns. Dr Vakil was kind & gentle with him. Since he’s 11 yrs old, he’s still a little boy but tries to be a big boy & not a baby. He loved how they spoke to him & me during his appointment. We will be coming to see Dr Vakil and Stacy for a long time! Highly recommended.
After our family dentist decided to retire, I was looking for a new dentist. My daughter recommended The Woodlands Dental Group and Dr. Vakil. Being a very anxious patient due to a traumatic experience as a kid (letting them know this in advance), I was assured they would take care of me and make me comfortable. They took my concerns about anxiety seriously and never made me feel bad about it.
After having a not so great experience at another dentist, I was so relieved by my experience with Dr. Vakil and everyone at this office. They were friendly, professional, and were great at explaining everything. I didn't feel rushed and even though I have a good amount of dental work to do, I left feeling positive about the plan moving forward. Highly recommend!
